In which all ways Service Commitment can be used?

I thought the only way to use Service commitment is by adding the commitment on the 'Service offering'

but when I see the Demo data, I see that the Service commitments are tagged to CIs like 'Service Instance', DCG etc

I want to understand clearly on how Service commitments can be/should be used properly.

Not sure what the source of this image is, buddy. I checked in my PDI, and I can see it's only available for Standard Change (SC).

It’s possible the screenshot is from a customization using the same database view.
