Linking KB articles to Service Offering in CSDM

Hi Everyone - I'm trying to link KB articles to service offerings. However, when I do it via the "Affected Product" on the kb it doesn't show up in the service offering. Does anyone know the table that is used on the service offering related list for KB?

Hi Joe,

In using the "Affected Product" on a KB this is the "m2m_kb_ci" table. You can set this up as a Related List for service Offerings to display the data.

Depending on whether this is a 1:m or m:m relationship you are after there is a Configuration Item field on KBs to indicate the related CI - but you may be using this already for technology CIs and wanting to rollup?

Hi Alec - I tried using that field to link the KB, however it wasn't showing up on the Service / Service Offering record still. 

However, I did put in the CMDB CI field that you talked about and it did work! I see that it associated to the Service Offering record correctly.
