Region attribute in Location CSDM Foundation Table

The Foundation Table Location does not have the OOB attribute "Region". This is resulting in customization to introduce this attribute. Is there a plan in future releases to introduce this attribute?

Use case:

The location could be filtered based on the Region selected. Example:

EMEA  - Only show locations which have region EMEA

NA  Only show locations that have region in North America

LTAM -  Only show locations which have region Latin America

APAC -  Only show locations which have region APAC

Hi,

As part of CSDM, locations now have a location type choice field. For your use case, you would have an "EMEA" location record, with a type of "Region". The parent/child hierachy would then be used to correctly nest locations within their region.
