Retired KB has been Re-published but "active" is "false".

Greetings of the day!!

I have been "published" the KB but this was marked as "retired" by me accidently, I tried to "Re-published" the KB but still "active" is "false".

If any one confirm, if its oob behavior(if yes, what script its effecting).

That is strange since no KB articles are active=false unless a script changes that. 

This is not out of the box behavior. I have just tried that process on a Tokyo patch 1 dev instance.

First thing I would check would be what is the knowledge base for the article in question and check the publish and retire workflows for any code that might turn active to false.
