I am working on a project to eliminate Oracle Java from our environment. In the process, I've discovered that when I looked at installed software on client machines a majority of MacOS entries show 'unknown' or blank for the Publisher field. This is in contrast with Windows clients where this field is almost always populated.
I'm seeing similar results JAMF ('unknown') and the native discovery process (blank).
Is this expected behavior?
