Activity Stream Customization

Was wondering if there was a way to customize what shows up in the Activity Stream. Currently what shows is anything created, change of notes and assigned. I want to be able to add cases that were set to resolve or closed into my Activity Stream.

The business need is to be able to audit when cases have been closed by all users in one convenient space. Thought possibly it could be just a customizable option within Activity Stream settings but that does not seem to be the case.
