CIS Data Foundations Schedule after June 30

One of my friend have a doubt on schedule. Since Data foundations exam is free until June 30, he was registered however yet not scheduled. He have 60 days left for his scheduling period. Now he have a doubt, if he was not scheduled exam before June 30 does he needs to be paid?

If anyone have idea let us know. I suggested him to schedule for last day, if you change your plans you can reschedule earlier too.

Mostly you can sent a mail to service now to extent the date for 1 more month, ,
Also CIS Data Foundations -> is still on free for next month

By June 30 , 2026  you have to give the CIS-DF exam to get free exam cost offer which your friend has done.

CIS Data Foundation Certification Is Live, Free Through June 30

From Registration date- you have 90 days to schedule the exam. Any day you can give the exam once your friend is Ready.

Based on the latest ServiceNow updated article, candidates who registered for the CIS Data Foundations exam before June 30 have already secured the free exam attempt. They do not need to schedule it by June 30 and have 90 days from the registration date to schedule and complete the exam. Additionally, candidates who already hold an eligible one of the 7 CIS certifications (ITSM, HAM, SAM, Discovery, Service Mapping, security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response) can continue to register for CIS Data Foundations free until December 31,2026 subject to the program's eligibility and completion requirements.
