Clicking the edit pencil icon on the Multi-Row Variable Set does not open the expected MRVS form. Shown is above screenshots on cancel and save button appearing but not multirow variable set variable.
Please help me how to solve it.

Try below:
1. Change the lookup table.
2. Change the lookup fields.
3. If this does not work, try creating new lookup variable.

so issue is not OOTB and cause by some of your script et
any script is working on that lookup select box variable?
did you try searching mespClosepopupunregustered method in any of your catalog client script or UI policy ?
