CSA is transferring to AI system administrator?

I was preparing for the CSA exam, and I have a business development background, a non-IT background. I completed the ServiceNow System Administrator Fundamental course here in ServiceNow University. I got a basic idea. Now I'm confused: is this CSA changed with AI System Administrator?

it's an evolution of pretty much the same as new features (AI) are being added.

CSA is a certified implementation administrator and it refers to an exam to pass while the AI admin might be understood more as a role with some expected responsibilites and skills.

For more details about it, go to and enrol to the AI System Administrator Career Journey, there are 3 levels - associate, professional and expert, you can combine between the levels and each with curated suggestion for you what skills to adopt and courses to take.

No . Servicneow has introduced AI System Administrator Career Journey  which is packaged by couple of Servicenow AI courses.

It has 3 stages: Associate AI Administrator ->Professional AI Administrator->Expert AI Administrator

As discussed with you, first I need to complete the CSA certification, right? Then I can focus on this AI System Administrator thing, correct?

See, every time I'm getting distracted when I see so many courses, so many directions. Just I need to stick to that first CSA exam, right?

no need for the CSA, you can take multiple courses without CSA, using it as a preparation.

Navigate to the link I shared with you above AI System Administrator Career Journey, go and select level to enrol: Associate - Professional - Expert (you can eventually skip between them)

And then for each of the level, you see this hexagons with materials to study - it can be an article, a training or other, some are optional/recommended, some are required and you can filter between them (click on the corresponding tiles)  

Then you will eventually get to a point where CSA is required to complete the whole path but before that, you can start taking classes and trainings before that. It's not a prerequisite.
