How do I estimate the number of hours to account for CMDB Administration (Discovery Admin, CMDB Admin)? If I need to justify adding someone to my team to operationally maintain the CMDB, including Discovery, is there a fomula of sorts that I can use to help define a business case. i.e. for every 100,000 entries (CI's) ,1/2 of an FTE is required to operationally maintain the integrity of the data and ensure ingestion of discovery items on a daily basis and conduct audits quarterly.
