Hi ,
Can anyone guide to me to join a community here ? as I am new and non technical so I would like to join a community where I can discuss and learn for my CSA certification programs. Any one please suggest me the community names or links to join them?
Also is there any option to get connected with the individual member of any community ? if they then how!

Hi @SubrataA ,
If you are new to ServiceNow and preparing for the Certified System Administrator (CSA) exam, joining the right communities will help you learn faster, ask questions, and connect with experienced professionals. Below is a simple step-by-step guide to the best communities and how to engage with members.
Step 1: Join the Official ServiceNow Community (Must-Have)
The ServiceNow Community is the primary and most reliable platform for CSA learners.
What you gain:
- Beginner-friendly CSA questions and answers
- Official responses from ServiceNow experts
- Discussions on ServiceNow Fundamentals and ITSM
Where to join:
https://www.servicenow.com/community
Recommended sections to follow:
- Getting Started
- CSA / Certification
- ServiceNow Fundamentals
- ITSM Discussions
Step 2: Use Now Learning Community
Now Learning is directly connected to your CSA training courses.
Benefits:
- Course-related discussions
- Exam preparation help
- Learning paths and quizzes
Access:
https://nowlearning.servicenow.com
(Log in using your ServiceNow account)
Step 3: Join LinkedIn Groups (Great for Beginners)
LinkedIn is useful for networking and simple explanations.
Search and join groups like:
- ServiceNow CSA Aspirants
- ServiceNow Beginners
- ServiceNow Professionals
Why LinkedIn helps:
- Real exam tips
- Daily learning posts
- Easy interaction with professionals
Step 4: Connect with Individual Members
ServiceNow Community:
- Click on a member’s profile
- Follow their activity
- Comment on helpful answers (direct messaging is limited)
LinkedIn (Best option):
- Send a connection request with a short message:
“Hi, I’m preparing for the CSA exam and found your posts helpful. I’d love to connect and learn.”
Step 5: CSA Study Focus for Non-Technical Learners
You do not need coding skills for CSA. Focus on:
- ServiceNow terminology
- Navigation and UI
- Roles and permissions
- Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB basics
- Final Recommendation
Start with the ServiceNow Community and Now Learning, then expand your network using LinkedIn. Ask questions confidently—even basic ones—and engage regularly to build understanding and confidence for your CSA exam.
If this response helps you solve the issue, please mark it as the Accepted Solution
Thanks,
AnkaRao

Hi @SubrataA,
I don’t think there is a specific or dedicated Community group only for CSA as such. Most users usually post their doubts or questions directly here and wait for responses from other members.
If you have any queries, you can post them as a question in the Community. Before posting, it’s also a good idea to search first, as your question might already have been asked and answered.
For connecting with other members, you can tag them using @ and request their help. Some members also share their LinkedIn profiles on their Community profiles, so you may connect and reach out to them there as well
Thanks and Regards,
Mohammed Zakir
