Interactive Filter on Platform Analytics Dashboard

Hi SN Community,

We have an existing Platform Analytics Dashboard containing multiple data visualizations built on the Incident table.

Now, we’d like to introduce an Interactive Filter on this dashboard with the following requirements:

  • The filter should be single-select and populated with records from the Group [sys_user_group] table.

  • When a group is selected in the filter, the dashboard data should update to display only the Incidents where the Affected User is a member of the selected Group.

Could you please guide us on how to configure this in the Platform Analytics Dashboard?
Any examples, configuration steps, or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

M Sriram

Hi @RaghavSh ,

We were able to add the filter to the dashboard. However, the concern is about the configuration specifically, how to set up the filter so that when a group is selected, all the data in the reports gets filtered to show only the incidents where the affected users are members of that selected group.

@Sri Ram4 On your individual reports check if follow the filter is marked true, if yes than reports will automatically start filtering based on interactive filter
