Multiple Interactive Filters

I want to provide our users with multiple interactive filters on a single report presented via a dashboard.

I have only been able to add a single filter and link it to the report.

I HAVE seen reports with multiple filters on a dashboard. Thoughts?

I have added multiple interactive filter widgets above the report on the dashboard but only the last (closest) one connects to the report.

I have seen reports that appear to have multiple filters displaying as part of the report itself, but cannot locate any examples.
