I would like to know what is the purpose of "Process Step" under approval of Change request?

Controlling and managing the approval flow for changes can be done using the "Process Step" under the approval of change requests.

Sequential or Parallel Approvals: Depending on how they are set up, process steps can be made to request approvals from several approvers simultaneously (parallel) or in a certain order (sequential).
