Hi ServiceNow Community,
I'm currently trying to transition my career into ServiceNow QA, but I'm facing some challenges and would appreciate any advice or insights from those who've been through similar situations.
Learning something new and transitioning careers is always difficult—sometimes it feels like I'm wasting time and money on training because when I apply for roles, employers seem to prioritize hands-on project experience over skills or certifications. I've obtained the following ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM), and Automated Test Framework (ATF). Additionally, I have 7 years of experience in QA/testing from other domains.
Despite this background, my profile isn't being considered for ServiceNow QA positions. I'm passionate about the platform and want to leverage my existing QA expertise, but I'm struggling to break through without specific ServiceNow project experience.
Any suggestions on how I can land a ServiceNow QA job?

Hi @venky6181 ,
As per my experience many of the companies are not hiring SN QA as Business Analysts, Business People, BPC and developers are doing the testing on their on. Secondly Only 1 QA is required on 3-4 Developers (practically) so QA opening are limited. My suggestion will be keep on trying for QA role but simultaneously learn about BA and BPC roles and their journies as well. This is just my POV and experience.
