I used to be able to get a PDI so that I could see how some new features work OOB. I just requested a PDI and my profile is set to user role admin but it won't let me get to anything because I don't have an app engine studio license. Is there a way to just see OOB ServiceNow without it?

What I actually did to fix this was go in and change my role to AES and then change it back to Admin and that fixed it.

You did not suggest the same. You told me to change it from AES to Admin. It was already Admin. I had to change it from Admin to AES and then back to Admin. This was not suggested by any of you.

Hi @PattyH ,
follow @Dr Atul G- LNG's steps
if you are still having issues release your instance and get a new on (this time try getting Xanadu or Washington versioned instance)
Please mark my answer as helpful/correct if it resolves your query.
