So I'm trying to create a public form for a ticketing system but I have no idea which board to put it under.

 

I would love a way to create a form and embed it onto a website for public use. If that's not part of the solution set provided by ServiceNow, is it possible to get an API that I can send data to the table and create a form for?

Hey Robin, I hope you are well.  I'd like to understand and clarify the use case for the public form.  Please see some initial questions that I have,

 

  • What type of tickets will be submitted through this public form? (e.g., incidents, service requests, general inquiries)
  • Is there a specific workflow or process that needs to be triggered when a ticket is submitted?
  • Will public users need to track the status of their tickets after submission, or is it a one-time submission?
