Hello Community,
I’m trying to create a new scoped application in my Personal Developer Instance (PDI), but I keep getting this error message:
Unable to create this application.
Go back to the create app experience and enter a different scope name.
Details: Failed to create templated object, details: Missing parameter
Has anyone else run into this "Failed to create templated object, Missing parameter" error when creating apps in a PDI?
Is this a known bug in Creator Studio or am I missing a required parameter/step?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ajaj

Hi @AjajA ,
You're encountering a known issue in Personal Developer Instances when creating scoped applications, where selecting the Global scope allows creation, but custom scopes trigger the Failed to create templated object, Missing parameter error...This problem arises due to missing parameters in the application template, which are not provided when creating scoped applications. ServiceNow has acknowledged this issue, but as PDIs don't have formal support channels, the resolution timeline has not been specified...
>> A workaround is to create your application in the Global scope and later migrate it to a custom scope if necessary. Alternatively, you can wait for a patch or fix from ServiceNow..(no ETA as of now)...
