Cannot get Interactive Filter to work on dashboard for cases

Hello All
i am trying to create new custom interactive fields, one to be able to filter by date and one by service.
We are using the CSM module with a parent generic sn_customerservice_case table, and multiple child tables (finance case, HR case created by us and so on). I created a dashboard with a series of reports on such tables, and a request is for the client to be able to quickly filter among all results.
Unfortunately no out of the box interactive filter exists for the case table, so I have tried creating a new one.
copying the OOTB for Incidents, I also added the below:
But it doesn't work. I can add the filter to the dashboard but it doesn't matter what timeframe i select, the case numbers is the same, and it doesn't really adjust any data.
I have also tried checking both options
Any idea how can i get this to work?
