Hi All,
I need to configure the plan floor maps in my company, but I can't understand the way to draw it.
I have understood that the I need to use GeoJson files for this activity, but I haven't found any guide that describes it.
Someone has configured the plan floor maps and can he help me?
Best Regards,
Vincenzo

Hi Vincenzo,
The floor plan visualization feature uses files in the GeoJSON-format, an open standard for representing geographical features.
If you would like to create your own floor plan the workbench requires maps in the geoJSON format for the interactive floor plan viewer.
Due to the complexity of each file, work with Micello, Inc. or another vendor to create the floor plan for your organization. I believe Micello will set up a trial floor plan for you to test before implementation.
However, if you would like to use an .jpeg image you would need to use the legacy floor plan viewer.
I also thought it was beneficial for you to know that the Facilities Legacy Floor Plan Viewer plugin has been deprecated in the Helsinki release and forward. The below article provides more insight on this.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no automatic conversion of jpeg or auto cad available for this application.
+Best Regards,
Gilbert

Hi Vincenzo,
GeoJSON is a format for encoding a variety of geographic data structures. The GeoJSON specifications can be found here: GeoJSON
There are ServiceNow partners that can help with having these floor plans built and configured; I suggest you take a look at Micello's app on the ServiceNow Store: https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/application/922849a44f6782007dff7bb28110c7...
