Dear All,
I'm reaching out to seek your advice on a challenge we're facing regarding the migration of procurement emails into ServiceNow requests.
As the process owner of Request Fulfillment, I oversee a catalog of approximately 1000 ServiceNow requests, each typically initiated by an end-user filling out a form. Recently, our procurement department expressed interest in leveraging ServiceNow flows for their mail-based workflows, such as license renewals.
The crux of the issue lies in the fact that these mailflows originate from Procurement, requiring end-users to respond with necessary details such as software requirements, license quantities, and end dates. While we can allow Procurement to send the initial email, I'm hesitant to burden end-users with copying and pasting procurement information into ServiceNow requests. Know that the end-users has no access to the backend of ServiceNow.
Given our preference to stay "Out Of The Box" without scripting, I'm seeking your insights and suggestions on how to streamline this process. We aim to convert over 50 mail templates into ServiceNow seamlessly.
Your expertise and advice would be greatly appreciated as we navigate this challenge together.
Best regards,
JoSte
