Hello Everyone,
Hope you are doing well.
I have a question about Data segregation based on customer account/company.
We have a company(which related to account) field on incident , problem, change table and requirement is to show the records(incident, problem ,change) to specific users/customers who belongs to particular account.
for example - there is a account xyz and want to show the incident , problem , change records to such users/customers who belong or work with that account and hide other company’s records.
so my question here is do we need to enable the domain separation to achieve such kind of requirement ( as you know sometimes it is difficult to manage ) or is there any alternative solution.
If yes then what could be the best approach?
Thanks,
Akshay

Hi, You can use below 2 options
1. ACLs - Define based on your requirement
2. Query Business Rule.
Mostly, I recommend to use Domain separation. For some reason, people dont want to go then suggesting 'Query Business Rule'. ACLs is the last option but side effects are there when you are going to new version upgrade.
