csm portal for contacts

i have created a contact for an account with proper role when I'm trying to raise a case through csm portal I'm unable to see the product when i mentioning the asset and it is showing only software related assets but coming to hardware it is not at all coming if any one knows the reason , please answer my question.

Hello @ashwitham 

Please share:
1. The name of role(s) that you provided.
2. The screenshot where in the portal you are facing this issue. 
3. If you do not select asset, then do you see the Product list or not. If not then

4. The Product Model table(cmdb_model) has some oob ACLs, did you modify any of those or created new ACL

without selecting any assets i can see products but not all the products only few , and i didn't do any modifications regarding acls

i can see the products without selecting assets and i didn't do any modifications to the acls related to product model
and it is  not working only with hardware related assets

Same issue with me
