Customer Service Management (CSM) module

Hi All,

I have activated CSM module in my personal instance and we are planning to deploy the same for  our client.

I have one query that CSM uses the default Asset Management and Tables or does CSM comes with separate Asset management and new tables gets created in Service Now.

Also what licenses are required to access CSM. If we have license for ITIL user role, will it suffice the user to access the CSM module or do we need any separate licenses??

Thanks,

Ayush

Hi,

here you will find all the tables installed with the CSM module:

Tables installed with Customer Service Management

The module use the default Asset Management tables.

Activate Customer Service Management

The CSM license is based on number of agents (i.e. fulfillers).

Hope this will fit your need.

Thanks for the reply.

I have one more query.
Is CSM depended on ITIL module of Service now?

If in an instance ITIL module like Incident Change Problem management is not enabled, then also CSM module will work or it needs any of this module?

Thanks,

Ayush

Hi,

CSM module is indipendent from ITSM module (since London).

In Madrid version, there are going to be interesting update about the relationship between CSM and ITSM module, so please be aware that soon there might be some dependencies between these two modules.

Cheers
