Empty categories being displayed in Portal. Is there a way to hide them without deleting them?

I noticed that empty knowledge categories are displayed in the Portal. Is there a way to hide them?

Hi,

Make it as inactive instead of delete.

Just uncheck the active check box in kb_category table record.

That only applies to knowledge v2, not v3.
