'Assigned to' field will not show correct users, when relevant assignment group field is populated?

Hi,

 

On a Case, I can populate the 'Assignment Group' with the relevant group I want, however, when i then try to pick a user from the assignment group, on the 'assigned to' field, the users are not appearing. Even when i use the magnifying glass lookup option no users appear in the look up list. 

- I know there are users in that assignment group, as i have checked the group members of these groups and i can see there are users related to the groups
- I have also tried the following - I selected configure dictionary on the 'Assigned to' field and removed the 'Roles is itil' reference qualification condition on the reference specification tab. However that is still not working, after testing.

Can somebody please help.

There is a dictionary override for that table/field

instanceName.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_dictionary_override.do?sys_id=2726cf03c322310015519f2974d3ae17%26sysparm_view=advanced

 

The users need one of these roles, (or remove this override reference qualifier)

Best practice is to add one of those roles to the assignment group
