Filter for tickets that are assigned to group today

I want to setup a simple report that shows which incidents are assigned to a specific group as of today.   Tickets may enter the group's queue from a number of other groups or queues and may have already been worked on over the course of a few days so the state may not be "New" by the time it enters this specific group, or even after it's been assigned to a technician in that group.   I'd like to track the total number of tickets the group received for the day even after they've been assigned out to technicians.

I'd expect the filters to look something like "Assigned on date" or "Changed group on" but I just can't find anything like it.

This type of information is captured in Metrics. You should be able to create a report off of the Incident Metrics table [incident_metric] Just be sure to use the Definition of "Assignment group" and the Start field of today.


When I switch to the [incident_metric], none of my filters populate.   Would that be an access issue?


incident_metric is a different table. I would create a new report rather than trying to modify an existing report. You can also go to the incident metric table by typing incident_metric.list



That will show all of the metric records associated with incidents. It is unclear if you are wanting to show this to any particular group of users. If that is the case, I would create a report instead of a Module.

Navigate ==> Reports ==> Create New



Create a New Report,



Name : Incidents   Assigned to Group in 24 hours


Data : : Table : incident_metric


Type : Trend


Group by : Active



All of these conditions must be met


Definition     is       Assignment Group



Assignment Group     is     * specify your Group Name



Updated     on     today
