NOW Mobile can be enabled to External customer the way we enable it to our Organization employees in ITSM. 

They should be able to chat via 

VA, Submit cases from Mobile, check for updates, refer to the assets / entitlement their account has enabled with etc.. and also profile mgmt can be done vis the mobile app. refer to the below link:
