How to add "Requested for" field in the Record Information section (Workspace - Yokohama release)

Hello Community,

I’m working on Service Operations Workspace in the Yokohama release.
In the Record Information panel, I currently see blocks like SLAs and timings, Caller, and Assigned to.

What I would like to do is add a "Requested for" field right below the Caller block in this section.

So far, I haven’t found clear documentation or examples on how to extend the Record Information area in Workspace for this version. I tried searching in KBs and the docs, but most examples are either for newer releases or don’t show how to place a custom field in that exact section.

Could someone guide me on:

  • The right approach to expose a new field (e.g. Requested for) in the Record Information component in UI Builder for Yokohama?

  • Whether this is possible through configuration (UI Builder, page layout) only, or if it requires customization (custom component / extension)?

  • Any best practices to follow to make sure it stays upgrade-safe?

you might have to duplicate that Record Information and then make changes

from Service operation work space i have to remove price from the record information for request

Please use UI Builder. and within the UI Builder, locate the Record Information component. To add the Requested for field, you may need to customize the component layout or utilize a custom widget that includes this field.....
