Hello,
We have a field called "Resolution Code" in the case table within the customer service application scope. For some reason, the client changed the application scope of this field from customer service to global scope using background scripts. Now, we want to revert it back to the customer service application scope. We've tried using background scripts, fix scripts, and deactivating ACLs, but we haven't been able to achieve this. Is there any way to change the application scope of this field back from global to customer service?

No, there is no way to move it from global application to scoped application(customer service in your case).
You have to create it again in the scope you want to have. But once you will delete the fields that data will be lost.
Just keep in mind that to take an excel before deleting and then again populating it for scoped fields you created.
Please mark it helpful if I'm able to answer your question
Thanks & Regards

I hope it wasn't used a lot, because you run the risk of breaking some things.
But can you check on the versions of the record (add the related list 'versions' to the form). Find the latest version before it was set to Global, select it and use the UI action to revert it to that version.
