@Resourc, to enable global search for Incident/RITM or any other table.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1) Go to "Search Sources" under Service Portal from Navigation.
Step 2) Create new record and add the details for the desired table (Example I have done for Incident).
Leave the "Search page template" as default. (Modify only if you need different output on portal page)
Step 3) Define the table you wish to query for search result and required field. (Keep limited fields)
Step 4) Update typehead
Step 5) Add the portal name to which you wish to allow users to search the Incident/RITM
Result :
Hope this helps.
Let me know if any issues.
Regards,
Vikas K

@Chavan AP it seems that you shared your own PDI, in that case you need to give access to it or to tell @Resourc to change the URL matching their PDI.
Or what was the ambition of sharing the two links? @Chavan AP
@Resourc please, can you explain your requirement?
it’s not expected to search for INC nor RITMs there because end users who are primarily using the portal (or esc) will access their own records from a widget and they are not supposed to see records for someone else, why would they?

Hey @GlideFather
Thanks for the clarification
yes end users when they search their request number or RITM,
that should be viewd only belongs to them
for ex: I have RITM raised I should do global search and check in employee portal this is requirment

Hi @Resourc
for that you use the OOTB widget:
If you want to adjust it, copy it and make the changes. But for what you described, this is sufficient as it displays INC and RITM but ONLY relevant to the logged in user - so they see only incidents and requests where they are callers, requested by or requested for (when requested on their behalf by somebody else).
You can filter active and inactive (eventually open x closed) records and if there are too many you use the search field above the list.
The main search field is configured for different purposes.
Let me know if this answers your question
