How to redirect external CSM users to /csm portal if trying to access regular UI

Any thoughts on how to redirect for a scoped application, specifically Customer Service Management, when a user tries to access a non-portal page like <instance>.service-now.com/sn_customerservice_case_list.do?   The non-role user property glide.entry.property.loggedin.page_ess does not work.   The portal users for CSM all have the snc_external role plus one or more of the CSM customer and partner roles.   All internal users get the snc_internal role.   Tried to create a Global UI Script, but cannot create one under an application scope; not supported even in Kingston.   Tried using one in the Global space, but did not work.

Hello Garp,

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I'm running into the exact same issue with CSM portal users that have the snc_external role: can't get them to redirect to the portal. I tried via a global UI script, but that won't execute since users with the snc_external role have no access to the back-end.

If you have a solution or workaround, would appreciate if you could share it.
