Linking Incident notification to another portal.

Hi Team,

 

When I receive an incident email notification, and I click the link to the incident ticket, then I am directed to another portal, where I can see the latest information on the Incident ticket, and I can add additional comments to the ticket which will flow down to the Incident ticket Additional Comments field.

How to achieve it.

Hi @Abhilasha G T ,

 

Please:

  1. Go to System Notification > Email > Notification Email Script
  2. Then look for the email script "incident_link", it is an OOTB one.
  3. Duplicate it (Right click on the header and Insert and Stay)
  4. Adjust the variable portalSuffix so that it points to the other portal you want
  5. Adjust the Incident Notification wherever the "incident_link" email script was used by updating it to your newly created email script in step 3

i have found the OOB Email script with the name  "incident_link",

screenshot is below , can u please let me know how to modify that yellow highlited with someother link as example
