In the list view, I would like to be able to tell if another user is currently inside cases.
I have a group of 10 users working a certain case type and they are constantly going into the same case to work, oftentimes they take the case from other users because they don't know someone else has started working it. I know there is an indicator inside the case when someone else is in the case with you but can that same indicator also be shown on the list view so the other users don't even go into the case? This would save us a lot of time and frustration

Hi User Presence (Core UI) and Form Record Presence (configurable workspace) is only available on forms, not lists.
Are people reassigning work from lists?

They are but it's not intentional. The problem is, people are going into the same new case within seconds apart and immediately assigning the case to them.
I was hoping there was a way from the list view, an indicator to show, without refreshing the list, if another user was already in the case.

Have you looked at using advanced work assignment (AWA) to route tickets to individuals rather than users selecting work? It would avoid this contention but admittedly requires a new approach to working which may not work for all enterprises.

That looks very promising. Thank you for the suggestion.
