Partner accounts and Contact Relationship

Hi

We have a partner account Set up "Acme Partners" which is linked to accounts X & Y via Account relationship.

We have also added one of the Acme partner contacts as a contact relationship under Accounts X & Y

When the Partner contact logs onto the CSM Portal all is fine and they can chose the account they are logging for etc and then select from the contact drop down.

My question is, should they show as a contact in the portal drop down ? At the moment there name does not appear and if they dont select a contact then the case is created with Account name populated and contact is empty,  although they do then appear int he case for Contact drop down?

 

Summary, partner contact not visible in list of contacts on CSM portal but can be selects in the contacts list in the portal.

Hi,

Partner Contact can submit a case for the related account by selecting appropriate customer account, and optionally selecting customer contact. 

1. When a case is submitted from Portal with related Account and Contact, the following information is populated in the "Case" form -

  • Account, Customer Contact
  • Partner, Partner Contact

2. When a case is submitted from Portal with related Account and NO Contact, the following information is populated in the "Case" form -

  • Account
  • Partner, Partner Contact

I'm sincerely requesting you that how to create Partner account"Z" and how to link to customer accounts X & Y.
