Sync state between Case and Incident

The requirement is to sync the state between the Case and the associated incident. Not sure which type of BR to be used.

Hi @sreeshsurendran,
Whilst this could be achieved with an update Business Rule on both the Incident and Case table re (a BR for each), can you expand a little more on the requirement please? (Can you also confirm which 'Case' table you're referring to please)
My assumption is that a sync would only trigger for specific states and use cases and not all updates.
As you're aware, these are separate processes and tables. Whilst I can envisage when an incident is resolved, a case could be updated, I would not expect the state's to sync or mirror each other.
Simply put at a high level, Incident's are internally managed by specific teams and Cases (If you're referring to CSM) are externally facing.
Both records (regardless of the Case table) would follow their own lifecycle independently from each other.
