Hi Team,
I need to know if we can do trend By Duration field in reports in servicenow. I checked but I am not able to select or find any duration field to trend BY instead I can only see Date and Date/Time Fields. Is there any limitations on it?

Hi @Community Alums ,
Is it created --> resolved where you would like to see the average pr. day, week, month? Do you have performance analytics available in your instance?
if my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
best regards
Anders

Tell us what you want the report to look like. Better yet, draw us a picture.
I think you're confusing the concept of grouping stuff over time "to see the trend" vs what ServiceNow means with trends as a condition.
In SN, "trend" condition roughly means, "of the same" where you select year, month, week, day, hour, etc.
Its for doing stuff like
- All incidents created on Mondays before 8am and Fridays after 5pm.

Thanks All,
This is resolved by changing the field type from String to Duration
