I have built out 3 Service Catalog items, which are all going to be generally available to end-users in our Org. I do not want anyone to have to approve these requests after they are created.
The flows I made in flow designer allow me to adjust stages of the the request item, but not anything on the request it self (at least I have not figured out how as of yet).
Is there an easy way to approve everything? It does appear that when I set my request item to closed complete, that the request closes out, so that is good.

Hi,
For a request item, you can "set value" to the "Approval" to mark it as Approved.
You don't have to pass it through any approval activity at all.
Once the request item is set to closed to complete via flow, then yes, the request overall is closed (if there are no other items ordered).
So it's more of a formality to have it marked as Approved, than literally needing it.

If you dont have an approval in your flow designer for these catalog items, how come it is adding approvals to the record?
Please mark my response as correct and helpful if it helped solved your question.

I did make a flow that triggers on service catalog. If I add a field for approval as you have shown (THANK YOU) would that trigger the request itself to change from needs approval to approved?
