This release focuses on AI-powered productivity, agile planning enhancements, and cross-team dependency visibility.

Major Features (Australia Release):

• Now Assist: Formula generation – Generate arithmetic, conditional, and text-based formulas using natural language directly within CWM list grids — no spreadsheet exports, no syntax knowledge required
• Now Assist: Scrum task generation – Automatically break down user stories into standardized scrum tasks with a single action, reducing manual effort and accelerating sprint planning
• Cross-work type relationships – Track and visualize dependencies across stories, tasks, and other work items to anticipate bottlenecks and keep delivery on schedule
• New Role: SPM Team Member – New role allows team members to update project and demand tasks in CWM

• AI Import of tasks and stories to CWM – AI Import converts documents, spreadsheets, or screenshots into structured CWM tasks with automatic field mapping, preview, and bulk task creation

Can you expand a little more on the new roles:

• sn_stm.team_member_read: Team members with this role can view and leave comments on project and demand tasks
• sn_stm.team_member_read_write: Team members with this role can view and edit project and demand task

If we have only a handful of SPM Pro licenses for Project Managers who create the projects and project tasks, then the rest of our organization is only licensed for CWM, will these two roles allow users with only a CWM license to read and edit project tasks?

Thanks for raising this point.

The new SPM Team Member roles were introduced specifically to enable CWM team members to collaborate on SPM execution work from CWM without requiring SPM license.

Users with a CWM license and the sn_stm.team_member_read role can view/comment on project and demand tasks, while users with sn_stm.team_member_read_write role can edit them. They can access those tasks through CWM My Work and CWM Boards.

They do not require SPM license for this capability, but they also do not get access to SPM project workspaces or any other SPM planning/governance functionality.
