How to Pitch Attending Knowledge 2026 to Your Boss

Knowledge and CreatorCon 2026 are high on many of our wish lists this year, but getting your manager's approval can sometimes feel like the hardest part of getting to Vegas.

Luckily, there's a tool built directly into the Knowledge website that helps you do exactly that. It's called the Convince Your Boss AI tool, and it builds a personalized, business-focused letter you can share with your leadership to make the case for attending.

Check out the video walkthrough above, or keep reading for the step-by-step!

Where to Find the Tool

Head to the Knowledge 2026 homepage. You can get there from the ServiceNow homepage under Learning and Events, or just search "Knowledge 2026" in your browser.

Scroll past all the exciting videos and information, and you'll find the Convince Your Boss AI tool waiting for you.

How It Works

The tool asks you a few questions about your role, your challenges, and what you're hoping to get out of Knowledge. Then it generates a letter framed in terms your boss cares about: impact, outcomes, and value.

Here's what you'll fill out:

  1. Your role: Pick the title that most closely matches your responsibilities. Developer, admin, architect, manager, whatever fits. The tool uses this to tailor your letter.
  2. Your biggest challenge: What's the main thing you and your team are tackling right now? Could be AI-related (like implementing or configuring AI safely) or something broader (like improving workflows or reducing busy work). This grounds your ask in a real goal.
  3. Your goal for attending: What do you want to accomplish by going to Knowledge? This shows leadership that you're thinking about the conference as a way to achieve something specific.
  4. Your focus area: What products or topics are you most interested in? (This is where you talk about how awesome CreatorCon is going to be.) This communicates to leadership what content you'll be prioritizing during the week.
  5. The business impact: How will your attendance benefit the business? Will it help cut costs? Give your team a competitive edge? This reframes Knowledge and CreatorCon not as an expense, but as an investment.

Generate Your Letter

Once you've filled everything out, hit that big green Generate personalized letter button. The tool will build a custom letter based on your answers.

From there, you can copy it to paste wherever you need, or email it directly. There's also an option to download a template and customize it yourself.

See You in Vegas?

Whether you use the AI-generated letter or fill out the template on your own, we hope this helps you make the case. And more importantly, we hope to see you at Knowledge 2026! Don't forget to check the CreatorCon box when you are registering!
