🚀  Silent Ticket Failure Detector (STFD)

Tickets don’t always fail loudly — they fail silently.

I built a proactive ITSM risk intelligence solution that detects and prevents these silent failures before SLA breaches.

🔍 Detects inactive tickets automatically
🤖 Generates AI-style root cause summaries
📊 Scores risk levels (Low / Medium / High)
Recommends corrective actions (reassign, escalate, notify)
📈 Identifies delay patterns across assignment groups

💡 Instead of reacting to issues, this system predicts and prevents them

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share my #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent submission!

I built SN Interview Coach — a full-stack ServiceNow application that helps developers prepare for technical interviews, built entirely using Build Agent with natural language prompts on an Zurich PDI.

The app includes:
Dashboard — live question count and quick navigation buttons
Question Browser — 10 real ServiceNow interview questions with topic and difficulty filters
Practice Mode — reveal answers and rate your confidence (Needs Work / Got It / Confident)
My Progress — session history with stats showing Confident, Got It, and Needs Work counts
Question Manager — admin interface to view, edit and deactivate questions

The concept is intentionally meta — I built a tool INSIDE ServiceNow to help people get hired TO WORK ON ServiceNow.

Key prompt that started the build:
"Create a new scoped application called SN Interview Coach with two tables: Question Bank and Practice Session, with roles, ACLs, and proper field definitions for title, question text, answer text, topic, difficulty, and self-rating."

Standout prompt that saved the project:
"The Dashboard and Question Manager pages are blank because their JavaScript bundles are not loading correctly. Please fix this by converting both pages to use inline JavaScript and React loaded from CDN instead of external uxasset bundle references."

Hello @laurentapia ,

For the #BuildMoreWithBuildAgent  Challenge,

Created a scoped application : AI Change Impact Simulator(AICIS24)

LINKEDIN POST-CLICK

AI Change Impact Simulator – “Don’t just implement change—understand its impact before it happens.”

    • Predict Before You Deploy
Simulates the impact of a change before approval, eliminating guesswork.
    • CMDB-Powered Dependency Mapping
Automatically identifies affected services, applications, and downstream dependencies.
    • Intelligent Risk Scoring
Generates dynamic risk levels (Low/Medium/High) using:
      • Past incidents
      • Change failure history
      • CI criticality
    • AI-Driven Insights (Game Changer)
Converts complex technical data into simple, business-friendly explanations.
    • Blast Radius Visibility
Clearly highlights what will be impacted and how far the effect spreads.
    • Smart Recommendations
      Suggests:
      • Optimal change window
      • Rollback strategies
      • Stakeholders to notify
    • One-Click Simulation
Easy-to-use “Simulate Impact” button directly on Change Request form.
    • Reduce Change Failures
Helps prevent outages by identifying risks early in the lifecycle.
    • Better CAB Decisions
Enables data-driven approvals with clear visibility and insights.
    • Business Value

Screenshot 2026-04-26 at 4.42.57 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-04-26 at 4.37.58 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-04-26 at 4.44.05 PM.pngWith a single click on “Simulate Impact,” the application analyzes the selected Configuration Item (CI), traverses CMDB relationships, and identifies all dependent services, applications, and potential business touchpoints. It then combines this with historical insights—such as past incidents and failed changes—to generate a dynamic risk score. What truly sets this solution apart is its use of AI to translate complex technical analysis into simple, actionable insights. Users receive a clear impact summary along with intelligent recommendations, including optimal deployment windows, rollback strategies, and key stakeholders to notify.

Instead of relying on assumptions or manual effort, decision-makers are equipped with a “preview of the future”—understanding what could go wrong, where, and why. This not only enhances the confidence of CAB approvals but also significantly reduces change failures and service outages.

The outcome is a smarter, faster, and more resilient Change Management process. Teams gain improved visibility into the “blast radius” of changes, better collaboration across stakeholders, and a measurable reduction in risk. By turning raw data into meaningful foresight, the AI Change Impact Simulator empowers organizations to move forward with changes confidently and responsibly.

In essence, this application doesn’t just manage change—it predicts, explains, and safeguards it, making it a powerful step toward truly intelligent IT operations.

Hey,

I joined the challenge and found it to be quite fun.

I created a HTML-to-DOCX converter:

final_app.png

It turns raw HTML into DOCX Word docuements using a react library.
Build Agent completely understood and then implemented the prompt very quickly. Definitly easier than googling.

The HTML in the screenshot above results in this fully functional Word document:

🎉 It's complete! hashtag𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 Challenge

🧠 What I built: 🌍 Digital Product Passport (DPP): The Future of Transparent & Sustainable Products

🔍 What Does a DPP Include?
A typical Digital Product Passport contains:
📦 Product details – name, model, category
🌱 Material composition – raw materials, recycled content
🏭 Manufacturing data – where and how it was produced
🌍 Environmental impact – carbon footprint, emissions
🔧 Repair & maintenance info – how to fix or extend life
♻️ End-of-life guidance – recycling or disposal instructions

🎯 Why It Matters
DPP is becoming important due to sustainability goals and regulations, especially in regions like the European Union.
It helps organizations:
Be more transparent about their products
Support a circular economy (reuse, repair, recycle)
Improve compliance with environmental laws
Build customer trust

🧠 In One Line
A Digital Product Passport is a centralized, digital record that tracks a product’s journey from creation to disposal.

🚀 Real-Life Example
Imagine buying a laptop:
You scan a QR code
You see where materials came from
Its carbon footprint
How to repair it
Where to recycle it
That’s a DPP in action.

It’s about giving every product a digital identity that tells its complete story—from raw materials to end-of-life.

🚀 Key Benefits

End-to-End Transparency
Track the complete lifecycle of a product across the value chain.

Regulatory Compliance
Stay ahead of evolving sustainability regulations, especially in global markets.

Sustainable Decision-Making
Enable procurement and operations teams to choose eco-friendly options.

Enhanced Customer Trust
Provide consumers with visibility into what they’re buying.

Circular Economy Enablement
Support reuse, refurbishment, and recycling initiatives.

⚙️ Where Platforms Like ServiceNow Add Value

With platforms like ServiceNow, organizations can:

Automate DPP creation through integrated workflows
Connect supplier, product, and ESG data in one place
Enable real-time updates across the product lifecycle
Build intelligent dashboards for compliance and reporting

🌱 Final Thought

Digital Product Passports are not just a regulatory requirement—they are a strategic enabler for sustainable transformation.

The future belongs to products that are not only smart… but also transparent.
