So, whatās The Devvies Contest all about? ā
Did you create an app that impacted your company or your client's operations? Did your app streamline your team's processes, enhance efficiency, or save time and resources? Open to participants of all skill levels, The Devvies is the ideal platform to highlight your achievements and solutions!
Participating will allow you to showcase your talent and encourage your peers to develop apps on ServiceNow that bring about change. You can participate individually or as a team of up to five members.
Is The Devvies Contest suitable for me? š¤
Absolutely! Whether you are an expert developer or have no coding background, if you've worked on an in-production app, The Devvies is for you!
And now, for the MOST EXCITING part: Prizing! š
The Devvies 2024 will present two awards! One overall App of the Year winner, and a Special Category: Peopleās Choice Award, in which the winner is selected by the Community out of a pool of finalists.
Every valid app submission will receive ServiceNow swag and a Community badge. Finalists will receive additional swag and recognition. If you are a finalist, your team will be in contention to win one of two āØgrand prize categoriesāØ: App of the Year & Special Category: Peopleās Choice Award. Hereās the contest schedule: š
- October 20, 2023 ā November 10, 2023 - Submissions will be accepted until 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.
- December 18, 2023 ā The Finalists for both App of the Year and Special Category: Peopleās Choice Award grand prizes will be announced on the ServiceNow Community!
- May 7-9, 2024 ā Winners will be disclosed at the CreatorCon Keynote during the ServiceNow Knowledge 2024 conference.
How to apply! š
First, visit the official contest page and submit your application. It will take 20 minutes or less! Just ensure that your app is finalized and currently active on a production instance, either by your organization or another company.
Once your application is entered, tell your peers all about it and inspire them to enter! To be eligible for swag, let everyone know that you are in the running for The Devvies by tagging ServiceNow and using #TheDevvies. After that, comment the link to your social post on this Community blog to qualify for your free swag.
Next, sit back and relax, as itās time for judging! We will announce the Finalists right here on Community on December 18, 2023.
