Adding or removing the sections and questions below in the native view is quite simple(through form Form Builder/Form Designer/Form Layout. However, is it the same in the Catalog Builder?
Hmm, yes, but you need to follow a few extra steps to achieve this.
Let's dive in and understand how.
(Basically its a record producer on the catalog item table behind the scenes, we just need to add appropriate questions/Variables to reflect in the Catalog UI Builder)
1)Open your catalog item in the Catalog Builder by Clicking "Edit in Catalog Builder" or From the filter navigator Search Catalog Builder and Open, Verify section your looking for is not there.
2)Come back to the native view, Navigate to "Maintain Wizards" Under Service Catalog Wizards Open "Create Catalog item" from from the list.
3)Open and Click "Open associated Producer"
4)you will be directed to below record Producer page, Navigate to Variables tab and create new variable(this will be used later in the section as a field).
Ex: We are creating Price Section and Price Question.
5)Create a Variable(Question), Since Price already exist, its just being mapped.
6)Go back or Open Step number ##3 i.e Open Create Catalog item Wizard and add a new Wizard step.
7)Create and Save, Click on "New" add a Price Section inside the Wizard step.
8)Create Price Section, Save. Click "New" to add Price Field inside the section.
9)Final Step, Add Price field question by selecting Price Question Created in step number #5
10)Now go back to the Catalog Builder, open the item, you will be able to see the new section and the question 😍.
You can reorder the price section by changing the order Step number #7.
Role Required : wizard_admin/ catalog_admin
