Hi,

Sharing this widget that can be used to get sound alerts whenever an incident is created can be a major incident/high-priority incident or an incident assigned to a particular group. We can place this widget on a portal page(which is open on a monitoring screen or system) and whenever the conditions are met it will generate a sound alert.

Click here to download.

Note: Currently the widget is configured to generate alerts for Major incidents accepted, we can configure the query/tables in the widget.

Please let me know in case of any questions or if any other information is required.

BR.

Hi Ishaan Shoor,

I am a Servicenow user and responsible for incident support service. I found your Alert Incident Sound project interesting and I need your help regarding the installation of the Alert Incident in my user access:
1 - I clicked the download button and downloaded the XML code to my desktop;
2 - I also copied the api_controller_function code and saved it as a txt file, also on my desktop.

How do I install your Incident Sound Alert project in my Servicenow user, will I need to use the two files that are on my desktop (the .xml and the api_controller_function) to install your project in my Servicenow user?

In short, how do I install your Incident Sound Alert project on my Servicenow user?

thanks

I was able to test load this in my PDI instance by following these steps:

1.  Go to the Retrieved Update sets [sys_remote_update_set] module

2. Choose the 'Import Update Set from XML' under Related links

3. Follow this process to get it uploaded

4. Then preview, then commit the update set

5. If all was completed successfully, you will see it by name in the Widgets [sp_widget] table
