🛸 Excited to share that I had completed the hashtag #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I have developed an "Outreach Program" management app using ServiceNow Creator Studio. It efficiently handles participant data for outreach programs. Through this app, employees can effortlessly express their interest in participating in outreach. The process then proceeds through manager review and approval of the requests.

I have completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge and am proud to introduce my Certification Reimbursement App! This user-friendly tool streamlines the reimbursement request process for employees.

Upon submission, requests are quickly forwarded to the manager for approval before reaching the finance department. Once approved, a task is generated for the finance team to guarantee that the employee receives their reimbursement. Notifications keep all parties informed throughout the entire process.

Developing this app was straightforward. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface allowed me to create the form and automate the workflow without needing programming expertise. The outcome is a powerful app that enhances communication, accelerates approvals, and ensures efficient workflow management.

I have successfully completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

This milestone marks a significant achievement in my journey as a ServiceNow developer and administrator. For this challenge, I had the opportunity to develop a unique and impactful application: “Coupon Request.”

The “Coupon Request” application is designed to streamline and enhance the voucher request process for employees. This tool not only simplifies the workflow but also adds layers of efficiency and transparency, making it easier for both employees and management to handle voucher requests seamlessly. Let me walk you through how it works:

  • Request Submission: The process begins when an employee fills in the necessary information to request a voucher. Once submitted, a task-based record is automatically created in the system. This record captures all relevant details and sets the stage for the subsequent steps in the workflow.
  • Automated Workflow: The heart of the application lies in its automated workflow, driven by a configured playbook. As soon as the record is created, the playbook kicks in. It first requests approval from the requestor’s manager. This step ensures that all voucher requests are evaluated at the manager level before moving forward.
  • Voucher Management Review: Upon receiving manager approval, the request is then routed to the Voucher Management team. This team is responsible for reviewing the request in detail. During this stage, the system notifies the requestor that their request has been assigned to the Voucher Management team and is currently under review. This transparency keeps the requestor informed about the status of their request.
  • Completion and Notification: After the Voucher Management team completes their review, they update the request status. If the request is approved, the state is updated to "Closed," and the requestor is notified that their voucher has been approved. However, if the request is marked as "Close Incomplete" or "Close Skipped," the requestor is promptly informed that their voucher request has been rejected. This ensures clear communication and helps manage expectations.

The “Coupon Request” application is designed to enhance overall efficiency and transparency in handling voucher requests. By automating approval processes and keeping all parties informed, this solution significantly reduces manual intervention and potential errors.

Hello @laurenmcman and  team,

Thank you for providing me with this opportunity to participate in the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge. Please find the details of the app I have built.

🌟HelpScape Foundation: Where Compassion Meets Innovation 🌟

I’m thrilled to introduce the HelpScape Foundation, an app I’ve built using ServiceNow’s Creator Studio to help people in need efficiently and quickly. This app allows anyone to submit help requests for individuals facing urgent situations, ensuring that their needs—whether food, shelter, or medical care—are addressed promptly.

The users fill out a detailed form providing critical information such as the person’s name, location, age group, and the type of assistance required. By capturing these details, we can ensure the right help is provided to the right people at the right time. 🌍💙

Key Features:

•Intuitive forms to capture necessary information like applicant details, the person in need, and their situation.

•Automated Workflow: Tasks are assigned based on urgency, ensuring high-priority cases are addressed first. 🚨

•Urgency-Based Escalations: If a case is critical, it is immediately escalated and NGOs are alerted via automated emails to provide timely assistance.

But this app is more than just a tech solution—it’s a platform that gives voice to those in distress. Whether it’s a child in need of food or an elderly person struggling for care, HelpScape Foundation is here to ensure no one’s plea for help goes unheard.

As Michael Jackson said, let's "Heal the world, make it a better place"💫

Hello Connections,

Excited to share that I completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I built a simple Telecomm Services Application with the help of Creator Studio.

Telecomm Services Application ultimately helps the end users sort out the issues related to the internet/Broadband.

How it works?

1. Submission of request: The end user who is facing some issue with internet service will Submit a request by specifying the Broadband type the end user using.

2. Issue routing and Resolution: Once the request is received from the end user the agent with the help of designed playbook will check the type of board band the end user using and assign the respective task to appropriate group and resolve the issue the end user facing.

3. Notifications: Notification will be sent to the end user when the respective group comes up with the resolution for the issue.

The Creator Studio feature made this experience extremely simpler and faster by configuring through Creator Studio Template and with its no code solution interface. It has reduced the effort of designing complex apps by giving wonderful playbook features and awesome UI to build the portal forms and view it in different way like Mobile, Portal etc.

Creator Studio made it effortless to quickly turn this app's no-code solution interface into a reality.

Hi all,

I’ve developed a new Skills Matrix Update app for the #BuildWithCreatorStudio that allows users to easily manage their skill profiles by adding new skills or updating existing ones. The app’s primary function is to streamline the process of skill management for both users and their line managers.

The app begins by gathering the relevant information from the user. It asks whether the user wishes to add a new skill or update an existing one. For new skills, the app creates a new entry in the user’s skill record. Skills are rated on a scale of 1 to 5, representing the user’s competency level. Additionally, users can upload certificates and include their expiry dates to ensure accurate record keeping.

If the skill being updated already exists in the user’s profile, the app retrieves the user’s skill data and lists all their skills on a form (as shown in the first screenshot). This form allows users to select which specific skill they wish to update, adjust the competency level, and add any new certificates if necessary. Once the form is submitted, it is sent to the user’s line manager for approval. Upon approval, an email notification is triggered to inform the user that the update has been successfully completed.

As depicted in the flowchart (second screenshot), if the manager does not approve the request, an email is sent to close the process. Otherwise, the record is either updated or created, followed by an email confirmation to notify the user of the changes. The flowchart illustrates the steps, from triggering the approval request to updating or creating records.

Using Creator Studio to build this app was a straightforward and enjoyable experience. Its intuitive design allowed me to map out the entire process with ease, and I can see significant potential in using this tool for similar projects in the future.

Hi All,

I am excited to share that I had completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I have created a simple "Customer Feedback Survey" app using ServiceNow Creator Studio in my PDI running on Xanadu version. It actually captures the customer feedback experience about the product purchased online. Through this app, customers can record their interest and experience in purchasing the product. Once the form is filled by the customer, the case will be in "Open" state. After running the Automation step, system will allow to send email and we can check the form submission status from the studio workspace itself. Here are the screenshots captured and sharing them here.

Hi @laurenmcman,

I have successfully completed #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge.

I have created 'Employee Leave Request' app using Creator Studio in ServiceNow. The goal is to making simple leave request & automated approval & email notification to employee.

App Name: 'Employee Leave Request'
Approval Process: Employee's Manager
Email Confirmation: Employee receive

Steps:

1. Employee can open the 'Employee Leave Request' app & fill up the details like Leave Type, Start Date, End Date, Leave Reason etc.

2.After submitting the request record will be generated with approval. Approval record will be going to Employee's Manager. If manager approve or reject the Leave Request, then Employee will receive the automatic email confirmation through the app.

3. According to manager's approval that Request task's status will be updated accordingly.
I was able to build above automated process by using 'Creator Studio'. It's extremely easy for us to build app with short during without Code. It's an amazing platform for no code solution interface, that helped to build a proper functioning application in short duration.

Hi @laurenmcman,

Thanks for sharing all the useful insights related to #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge.

I am thrilled 😎 to share that in continuation to my #servicenow learning journey, here is my submission for this challenge.
App Name: Automated Meeting Scheduler
Concept: Employees can submit meeting requests by specifying the participants, availability, and preferred time slots, and the app automatically schedules the meeting.
How it works:
-The employee submits a meeting request by entering title of the meeting, 2 preferred time slots, required & optional participants, and duration of the meeting.
-The app automatically cross-checks with all the participants if they are available in those time slots.
-If all agree, it creates an appointment and sends notifications to all participants with web meeting URL defined in workflow.

I added a contribution to the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge and built something that is far, far away from IT: A registration app for club member duty hours in a German allotment gardening club. I imagined being a guy who has not much experience with IT, but who knows what to improve and what to achieve. As that person, I also added some placeholders which "I" want to discuss with that one garden member who promised to do the development stuff for me based on my draft.

It's just for fun indeed, but absolutely a real-life scenario at the same time.
