Hours Sync App is a ServiceNow-based application designed to streamline the ticket generation process for ad-hoc client support requests, providing a smooth and efficient workflow from submission to task assignment.

The app allows employees to quickly generate a request when they receive an unplanned task from a client. Users can fill out a form specifying critical details like the client they’re supporting, the module they’ll be working on, and a comprehensive description of the requirement.

Once the form is submitted, the app sends an automated notification to the employee’s manager, requesting approval of the new task. The approval process is seamless:
- If approved, a task is automatically created within ServiceNow, assigning it directly to the requesting employee. The employee is notified instantly of the approval, allowing them to begin work without delays.
- If rejected, the app triggers a notification to the employee, providing them with immediate feedback and reasons for the rejection, ensuring complete transparency.

The app's design focuses on automating routine workflows, eliminating manual tracking, and ensuring a clear approval process. Built using ServiceNow’s Creator Studio, it leverages the platform’s no-code functionality, making it highly accessible for non-developers.

This app is a practical tool for organizations seeking to enhance collaboration, streamline client interactions, and improve overall efficiency in handling customer requests. It embodies ServiceNow’s strength in IT service management by automating approval flows, notifications, and task assignments, all while keeping the end-user experience simple and intuitive.

In essence, Hours Sync transforms the client request process into an efficient, automated, and transparent workflow, enabling quicker response times and better resource management.

I’m thrilled to announce my latest project for the hashtag #BuildWithCreatorStudio Challenge: Client Visit Management Request Application!

In today’s fast-paced work environment, managing client visits can be challenging. This application aims to streamline the entire process by automating approvals and task assignments, ultimately enhancing efficiency and user experience.

Key Features:

>>Seamless User Submission: Users can easily submit their client visit requests through the Service Portal, Employee Center, or Virtual Agent, providing flexibility and convenience.

>>Automated Approval Workflow: After submission, the request is automatically routed to the requestor's manager for approval. This eliminates delays and ensures timely responses.

>>Task Automation: Upon manager approval, the application automatically generates three essential tasks: pre-booking travel, arranging food and accommodation, and securing workplace access. This ensures that all necessary preparations are handled without manual intervention.

>>Efficient Notifications: Once the tasks are completed, the requestor receives an email notification confirming that their request has been fulfilled. If the manager rejects the request, an immediate notification is sent to the requestor, keeping everyone informed throughout the process.

This application not only simplifies the client visit management process but also promotes accountability and transparency within teams. I believe that leveraging automation in this way can significantly reduce administrative burdens and improve the overall experience for both employees and clients.

Below are the posts I created in LinkedIn and Youtube explaining about the app and my experience in creating the app.

🚀🎉 Excited to share that I have Completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I built a “CorporateCard Hub” application for Corporate Card Issuance and Management System using ServiceNow’s Creator Studio, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how powerful and intuitive this platform is. 🙌

The application streamlines the entire corporate card request process—from submission and approvals to HR review, Finance action, and Card issuance. Here’s how it can benefit organizations:

Here are some of the standout features:

Efficient Card Issuance: Simplifies the process of issuing corporate cards, reducing administrative overhead.

Real-Time Monitoring: Provides real-time tracking and monitoring of card usage, ensuring transparency and control.

Expense Management: Integrates with expense management systems to automate and simplify expense reporting.

Security Features: Incorporates advanced security measures to protect against fraud and unauthorized usage.

Creator Studio's low-code platform made it simple to build the Record Producer and Playbook, which streamlined Corporate Card Request and task automation.

I’ve developed a “SIM Card Request” app for employees using Creator Studio. This app is designed to streamline and improve the process of requesting SIM cards, ensuring that employees can effortlessly secure the connectivity they need for work.

The app features a user-friendly submission form where employees can input essential information for their requests. This includes fields for their name, mobile IMEI number, and a mandatory delivery address, regardless of whether they choose a Physical or Virtual SIM. By gathering these details, the app guarantees that all requests are processed accurately and efficiently.

A crucial component of this app is the Manager's Approval step. After submitting their request, the employee’s manager must review and approve it before moving forward. If the manager approves the request, it proceeds to processing. Otherwise, the employee receives a notification detailing the reason for the rejection.

When an employee selects a Physical SIM type, the delivery address is vital for shipping directly to their home. Once the SIM is processed for delivery, employees will be informed via email. In the case of a Virtual SIM, the SIM ID will be shared through email, and the delivery address remains important for documentation and verification, ensuring that all records are complete.

The SIM Card Request app offers a clear and efficient solution for employees to obtain SIM cards.

Hi ServiceNow Community,
I have created a Conference Booking App which is built on the powerful ServiceNow platform using Creator Studio, leveraging its robust workflow and automation capabilities to streamline the scheduling process.

Key Features:

  • Request Submission & Workflow Automation: The app automates the entire booking lifecycle, from submission to manager approval, utilizing ServiceNow’s workflow engine. This ensures that all requests are efficiently routed, tracked, and processed with minimal manual intervention.

  • Integration with Microsoft Teams: Leveraging the Microsoft Graph API, the app integrates with Microsoft Teams to automatically update attendees' calendars upon booking approval, eliminating the need for manual coordination.

  • Real-time Notifications: Users are notified via email for request approvals, rejections, or changes in booking status, keeping them informed at all times.

  • Scalability & Extensibility: Built on the ServiceNow platform, the app is highly scalable and can be extended to support additional integrations (e.g., Zoom or Google Calendar) or advanced reporting tools like Power BI.

Hello Community! 👋

I’m excited to share that I’ve developed a Video Conference Room Reservation App for the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge! 🚀

Using this app, employees can easily reserve video conferencing rooms for their meetings. Here's how it works:

* The request triggers a first approval from the requestor's manager.

* After approval, it moves to the Facility Management team, where any team member can approve it.

* Once approved, a task is automatically created and assigned to the team to finalize the reservation.

Additionally, requestors can ask for extra peripherals like Laser Pens, Microphones, and more! 🎤🖊

Building this app with #CreatorStudio was incredibly easy. Its drag-and-drop interface allowed me to quickly design the form and automate the workflow—all without writing a single line of code! The result is a fully functional app that streamlines communication, simplifies the approval process, and ensures seamless meeting setup.

I have built a Resource request application - ResourceHub which is designed to streamline and simplify the process of requesting resources for projects, ensuring smoother team management and efficient staffing.

Here’s how it works: Users can easily submit requests for additional team members by specifying key details like the Project ID, role needed, and the duration .From there, the app automatically routes the request for approval first going to the immediate supervisor and then to, HR or higher management.without manual follow-ups. If rejected, a notification is sent to the requestor, and the request is closed. Upon approval, a task is created for the HR or resource management team to find and allocate resources, including onboarding. Notifications are sent at key stages, such as after approval or rejection, keeping the manager and HR informed.WhatsApp Image 2024-09-22 at 13.46.05.jpegScreenshot 2024-09-22 3.24.01 AM.pngScreenshot 2024-09-22 3.22.50 AM.pngScreenshot 2024-09-22 3.21.12 AM.png

🚀 Excited to Share My Latest Project: Corporate Travel Request App! 🌍✈️

Problem Description: In today’s fast-paced corporate environment, managing travel requests can be a cumbersome process, often resulting in delays and miscommunication.
Recognizing this challenge, I developed the Corporate Travel Request application using ServiceNow Creator Studio. This app simplifies the travel request workflow by allowing users to input their travel dates and purposes seamlessly.

How It Works:
> User Submits a Request
> The Request is then routed to the appropriate approver
> The approver (corporate travel managers) would review the request
> The approver would approve the request.
> Upon approval, a task is automatically generated for agents to handle the bookings, streamlining the entire process.

Usage: The Corporate Travel Request app is designed for organizations seeking to enhance their travel management efficiency. Users can quickly submit their travel requests through an intuitive interface, while approvers receive notifications to review and approve requests promptly.

The integration of task creation for agents ensures that no steps are missed, and bookings are completed on time, enhancing the overall travel experience for employees.

Future Enhancements: I envision several exciting enhancements for the app, including:
> Integration with Calendar Apps: Automatically sync approved travel dates to personal calendars.
> Real-Time Budget Tracking: Provide users and approvers with budget constraints and tracking features.
> Mobile App Version: Make travel requests and approvals accessible on-the-go.
> Feedback System: Allow users to provide feedback on their travel experience for continuous improvement.

I’m thrilled to contribute to the #BuildwithCreatorStudio  challenge and can’t wait to see how this app evolves to meet the needs of users and organizations alike!

Let’s connect and share ideas on improving travel management in the corporate space! 🌟

Excited to share that I completed, #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I have built a Event Pass Request application - Sunburn Goa 2k24 which is designed to streamline and simplify the process of requesting event pass for Sunburn, ensuring smoother and efficient staffing.

Here’s how it works: Users can easily submit requests for Event Pass by specifying key details like the Legal Age, Food Consumption, and the Group Member .From there, the app automatically routes the request for approval without manual follow-ups. If rejected, a notification is sent to the requestor, and the request is closed. Upon approval, a task is created for the Capacity management team to allocate Passes.

Notifications are sent at key stages, such as after approval or rejection, keeping the manager and requestor informed.
