Today we will cover what is the difference between Excel Parser and Transform Map reading and parsing as both are helpful for uploading and reading files.
Diff#1
In excel parser, you get the flexibility to read xlsx files and do any kind of validations on the data rows in the excel sheet and insert/update/delete record based on conditions. You can do any validation and perform any operation. But for all validation you have write the scripting on Server Side either in Flow,Scheduled Jobs or Business rules etc.
In Transform map you have OOB coalesce on the basis of which you can decide whether to create or update with minimal scripting. Also, for any validation on the data you can write the Transform Map script OnStart,OnAfter, OnComplete etc.

In excel parser you can only parse the xlsx files as it supports only this format.
In transform map you can parse or read xlsx and xls both

In excel parser you can set the parent vs child relationship
In Transform map you cannot set the parent vs child as you will have the parent record access in transform map.
