Recently, I have observed that we can update our email address our self which we use to sign in ServiceNow Developer’s account that is used to login Community, Now Learning, developer’s site etc.

Previously we need to drop an email to community@servicenow.com to change our email address used and that was taking too much time to update email address. In my case, it took around 30 days of time to change email address. I dropped multiple follow ups mails , confirmations for updating email address.

Now it becomes much easier to update your email address. ServiceNow automated the process for changing email address. You can follow below steps to change your email which you are using to login.

  1. If you already logged in then, go to the link https://account.servicenow.com/editProfile. Else follow below steps :
    1. After logging to Community, Go to Now Community Profile -> Manage Profile -> Click on Pencil Icon  on your profile.
    2. You will be redirected to the above link https://account.servicenow.com/editProfile
  2. Once you reached on edit Profile , you can manage your achievement, personal information such as which is shown in community profile.
  3. You need to click on Update Email. In next window, you will ask to enter new email address.
  4. Once you filled out an email and clicked on next, it will ask to enter a Verification code which you will be receiving on your old email address. Email which contains time-sensitive code
  5. That’s it!!! It will take few hours to update email address. For me it took around 10 to 15 minutes to update.

Linking multiple accounts :

You do have your ServiceNow account with created from your personal email address and corporate or companies mail address.

So you can link your multiple ServiceNow account/profiles available under one account to see all your badges, achievements and certifications.  

Here are few steps you need to follow to link accounts.

  1. Go to https://www.servicenow.com/success/now-creators/manage-profile.html or else After logging to Community, Go to Now Community Profile -> Manage Profile .
  2. Here on this page, you need to click on “Link ServiceNow Accounts”.
  3. After clicking on add another account, you need to specify account email ID. You will receive an email for Confirming your account verification.
  4. On completion of verification, you will see accounts linked.
