Hi Saikrishna,
Yeah it is possible. you can do the more than that also.
There is variable method available however i will suggest if all the users are in excel or csv then you can do it via import set.
Please refer the import set in wiki.

If you have those members in the excel you can have it imported to temp table first then to groups table .. make sure column titles are same in you excel and table..or you can do mapping..
