Can someone tell me how I can tell what fields these indexes are pointing to?
There are a lot of these fields on my CMDB form and I am of the belief that they are linked to fields around the CMDB, but would like to find out what fields they are linked to.

Go to table sys_storage_alias and search there for records with storage alias field equals to what you have in the first column.
Then you will see the name of the field in column element name:
